I personally love animal prints. I also love big flowy floral shirts with skinny jeans. But what I love wearing is a knee-length flowy dress, with a really cool print and a bold colored belt. Another thing that I wear is a bold-colored skirt with a colorful top and a fun belt with slouchy boots and socks with an awesome long necklace to top it all off!
Leave the color and mash-up loud trends on the runway, or on your grade-school kid. Fall is for my jeans, plaids, snuggly faux fur coats and faux leather boots. Let me hibernate away in warm oranges and yummy comfortortable chocolatey colors! Throw on some gold or silver baubles for the holidays.

While out and about I’ve noticed so many women wearing bulkier sweaters. They are so cozy and can still be sexy when worn with leggings and this season’s wide array of boots. Another great way to dress it up is to pair it with a belt. Drapey, slouchy sweaters are a big trend this fall in Northern Indiana, where the chill in the air comes on early. I love the off the shoulder look. It serves the purpose of being both warm and practical, while still keeping that feminine quality.
Whether out shopping with the girls, jumping into a pile of leaves with the kiddos, or cozying up with that special someone and a cup of hot chocolate, this look is perfect! One of the greatest trends I’ve seen this season. These are definitely not your Grandma’s sweaters ladies!!!
Love all the styles of boots they are coming out with. A new pair for every mood.

Shoes are by far the most important part of any outfit. Having the wrong shoes can ruin what could have been a jaw dropping outfit or it could make it so much more glamorous. During those cold months boots are your best friends they can go with just about any look to a simple casual outfit to a night on the town. They even go great with those tight dresses I know you ladies like to wear and best of all its a comfortable fit for any occasion so no need to wear uncomfortable heals just to dress up your look. And believe it or not shorts are still wearable when its cold. If you have the right boots that can keep your legs warm a nice dressy shirt and a jacket to match you won’t be feeling the cold much and your look will be amazing. A great pair of boots with jewelry to match your look and a stunning jacket — you’re ready to take on your day!
With the holidays right around the corner, sprucing up your look will leave you feeling cheery and bright. If you are planning to “rock around the Christmas tree” or for a casual night of “roasting chestnuts on an open fire” here are some trend setters that will get you started. I love Charlotte Russe for nights when I am “going out”; this year plan on finding things that sparkle and subtle ways to be sexy such as mesh laced through your dress…ooooo la la:) Check out their Satin Waste Sparkle Dress ($29.99 in Santa Red) or Shimmery Ruched Tube Dress ($29.99 in Icy Blue) for some sexy wintery looks that are sure to turn heads. This year try the strapless look or go for the “off the shoulder” look such as the Eric Daman Mesh Inset Dress ($36.99 in black…you really can’t go wrong with black) and don’t forget to glam up your look with some of their Glam Glitter Platform Pumps in various colors ($20, buy 1 get 1 for $15.50 online!!).
If you aren’t feeling so bold, but still want a little sparkle try something like their Sequin-Trim Draped Top or Sequin Inset Mini. For a more casual look try a Cable Knit Sweat Dress and pick up some Leggings or Jeggings from American Eagle. Pair this with something like some Belt Wrap Leatherette Platform Boots ($48.50 at Charlotte Russe) and you are going to get your swagger on. If you are planning on lounging about the house with your loved ones or challenging Jack Frost for some Chinese food then check out AE Artist Corduroy Pants (various colors, but please try white…who said you can’t wear white after Labor Day?) and an AE Pointelle Detail Sweater in some super cute colors (my favorites being Gnome Green, Deep Cerulean, Persian Red, and Classic Black).
Don’t forget your coat! If you live in New England, you will need one! Bon Ton has some great deals on some super cute coats by Calvin Klein, DKNY, Jones New York, and my favorite…GUESS. The image you see is from GUESS (Wing Collar Winter White Tiered Walker originally $350 marked down to $175 on Bon Ton website). I am writing Santa right now for this coat. The glittery gold buttons had me sold:) You can top off your look with your choice of scarf and mittens. Bath and Body Works puts out a scent called “Secret Wonderland.” This scent will leave your man wondering if your little one really did see “mommy kissing Santa Claus.” And don’t forget to go to Claires for some affordable and fun jewelery to accesorize and complete any look and any style. Hope this helps!
Boots are the trend in Rhode Island — preferably ones that are knee-length with faux fur! They look fantastic with jeans or leggings, and they are affordable. I stopped three women to ask where they bought theirs: One was from Payless, where she bought one and got a pair for her friend for half price! The other woman bought a pair of boots at Famous Footwear, and another had on a great pair from Macy’s–so this style really is all over! Ladies, start your engines, and shop till you drop.
One trend that I think never goes out of style is the animal prints. I LOVE animal prints on anything from hair accessories, to clothes and shoes to jewelry. Another trend I’m liking for this fall and winter is the neon trend!
There’s nothing better than wearing boots in the winter. I love matching my boots with scarves — I have over 20 pairs of scarves and boots! I wear them with either short skirts, long skirts, or pants. And when I’m not wearing my boots, I wear heels or flats with leg warmers. I ALWAYS get compliments on them!
I find that if you stick to classic designs, you can dress them up or down with simple accessories like scarves, jewelry, shoes, and handbags. That way you can get the most for your money.
